I just saw the film . James Braddock's unwavering strength of spirit shines through not only during the depression and not in America alone. The film has captured so movingly the legacy one man has left and might easily have been forgotten if not for the belief of Russell Crowe, Ron Howard and Renee Zellweger that his story should be told. The story deserves an Oscar and more importantly deserves to be seen by as many as possible. The integrity of one man who came to envision the hopes of a nation in despair and his strength of the human spirit must not be forgotten. Maybe at times we need to be reminded to hope and presevere even if odds seem insurmountable. We all need second chances and the wisdom to use them well. This is the story of James Braddock. To Russell, Ron and Renee, we will keep watching your movies.

What an inspirational man! Movies seldom stir such emotion and lift the senses like the 'Cinderella Man'. If it wasn't such a great story, they couldn't have made such a great movie. Easily jumps into my top 2 favourite movies of all time along with 'Braveheart'...but this was real

His story is one of human triumph and is such an inspiration. It is amazing that one man moved one nation. It is more amazing that many years after, through the film Cinderella Man, he moved the world. How I wish we had James Braddocks in the Philippines. This will certainly turn things around. I hope his family knows how much his story has inspired me to have faith in my country once again cuz as James Braddock said, "we can't have no hope at all."

Esta noche vi por segunda vez la pelcula. Me gust mucho la historia de la vida de Jimmy. Cuando no tena plata ni para pagar la calefaccin ni la luz, tuvo la voluntad de seguir peleando por la vida de su familia.

Watched the movie last night, what can I say, this is the most inspiring & touching movie I have ever seen! James J Braddock was clearly the People's Champion & its great that a bibliography can be made of his life not just showing his prowess in the squared circle but also revealing his struggles and his determination to support his family in such a tough era & his eventual rise to World Heavy Champion!
