Great Movie.......about a great man.

It was a superb and heartbreaking Movie that i've seen. Mr. Jim was a role model to anyone striving to past any predicament in our life.. i love this man, he gave me the LIGHT...

I was amazed the was a true story. I never really thought much about watching the movie. But decided to give it a shot. This is a great movie and a father anyone would be proud of. I am glad i decided to watch. thanks for allowing it to be made.

I just saw the movie last night for the first time. I didn't know it was based on a true story. My husband is Irish and we're thinking about having another baby and naming him Braddock because we are so inspired by your Father/Grandfather. I loved it that he wasn't just a boxer but a good and honorable man. Thanks for maintaining the website. You know how Hollywood seems to stretch somethings and it's nice to see the real man behind the story.

My dad took me to a boxing match at a small gym in Elmwood Park, Norristown PA in the early 1950's (I couldn't have been more that 6 or 7 years old) and in attendance was a man who my dad said "..is a really famous boxer...His name is Jim Braddock..." My dad took me over and introduced himself and me to him. I don't know why Mr. Braddock was there but he was, watching the young men spar and fight. I got his autograph and kept it in my succession of wallets for over 15 years but then lost the autograph when my wallet was dropped and left in a rainstorm outside my home. It was very interesting to me the that the movie came out about Mr. Braddock which portrayed him so well I think. Anyway, that's my memory of meeting Mr. Braddock. He seemed like a quiet, humble man.

Thank you for sharing your family's history with all of us. Mr. Braddock left a tremendous legacy for not only his children and grand's but his life has touched those who have come to "know" him through the film and this site. His determination, love, honor and courage are inspiring and so needed today.

I sure am glad I decided to look for information about Mr. Braddock. This website is very well done and I really appreciate you sharing this with us. I think every family should watch the movie together, what an example the Braddocks are. Jim Braddock's example should make us all proud to be an American. His courage was so inspiring that it still has a powerful effect on people today. We should all follow his example.

watched the movie for the 2nd time with my 6 year old son. he is amazed by boxing now. thanks to this site I was able to show him the real thing. thank you so much.

Just finnished watching the movie for the Fourth time. My father just passed in July and we shared the love of this sport. The best boxing story ever made.

i have to say that i have seen "cinderella man" for more than 1o times and its just great what i can see in this man,in his family and the courage that a person shows in every moment of his life. he is just a great example to follow and we really need more people like him nowadays.....to the people who run run this site......you should be proud of being part of a great man famliy.........

i grew up just trying to make a living...i see our country going in the same arena as the day of braddock....only the spirit of jim can we survive the upcoming change in our country.........i am proud of my heritage........jim inspires me to continue no matter what our gov't becomes......

I am not a big fan of boxing, but I am proud of my Irish heritage, and therefore so very proud of what your great grandfather accomplished. We all know that when it comes to fists, the Irish rule, it is just how we are.
Yet, the Bullgog gave hope when so much was needed, and is a hero. I therefore raise my glass of Guiness to him and his family. Cheers =) ummm, no idea where 'Alexander' came into my name, but Irish I am :)

My grandmother was 13 when Mr. Braddock fought Max Baer. She remembered it well and told us the story of his fight and how it saved the spirits of so many. She was a big boxing fan but Mr. Braddock's win was the fight she remembered most.

What a story, what a man, what a movie! The world needs more people like James J. Braddock. I've seen Cinderella Man 4 times, and I still hold my breath at the end, hoping he'll win!

Hey y'all, i watched the film cinderella man several times and i was throughly captivated by it's wonderful story. I think it represents what our society today rarley see's, determination and courage without coruption.

I would like to thank everyone who was involoved in the movie Cinderella Man especialy Russell Crowe and the true J Braddcock. This website is amazing. I've wathced thee movie more than once and I truly love it, James Braddcock is a great role modle and a wonderful father and Dad. Its an honer just to be able to watch such a great story about him.

I have watched "Cinderalla man" 6 times so far and I am looking forward to the 7th time. Mr. James J. Braddock is truly an American icon, a true man by every definition, a man that all men to strive to be like! Nike had a commercial with a phrase "Be like Mike" though I do respect that mans athletic ability I think the true American phrase should be "Be like Mr. James J. Braddock" to say he is an inspiration to all is an understatement. Thank you Mr. Braddock and Thanks to your entire family!!!!!!!
