I just saw the movie last night - fantastic!! I laughed, I cried, I shouted; my, what a man!

Jim Braddock clearly possessed all the attributes of a fine human being and imbued his family and friends with his outstanding principles. His courage and fortitude in the face of what seemed unsurmountable difficulties serve as a lasting reminder that the deeds of ordinary people provide the backbone to human history, in times of depression, hunger, peace or war. The reputation and standing of our so-called 'leaders' pale beside such stories as those of James J. Braddock and other ordinary men, women and children who refuse to take the count. What a man!

admire his courage and perseverance, especially under the pressure of great depression, and I quite like his impressive smile under adverse conditions in fight

I just saw the movie.it was indeed interesting. A wonderful true story that would touch every man's lives and learn alot from it. i salute him "james j. Braddock"

I just saw the movie. Great movie about an honorable man. It makes you greatful for what you have.

Just saw the movie... great story that really touched me. James Braddock must have been really a great person.

I was a litlle girl and my Dad often spoke of Jamed Braddock. he was my Dads hero. After viewing the film, I know why. What a splendid human being he was, what a man! My Dadis gone, he was my hero.

As most people, I knew about JJ Braddock until I saw the movie.
I've been reading more about his life, and the more you know the more inspiration you get.
Whenever you think you're facing a difficult situation, imagine you're current situation with the one Braddock faced.
Despite all the adversity he and his family managed to hold to their values, a big lesson in world where everyday people wants to forget about it.
I'm lucky to have known the story of "The Champion of Values", A big inspiration for these hard times.
That despite all, we're not yet in a crash like 29.

Did'nt know much about James 'till the movie but since then I have read as much as I could about him. What a wonderful person he was especially to his family. I makes me really proud the fact that there is such an Irish connection. He gave an awful lot of ordinary folk such inspiration in such a difficult time for everyone.

No doubt that it was a great movie, but the more important fact is that it shed light on the incredible life story of Mr. James Braddock. A very inspiring tale of courage and never-say-die spirit that Jim exhibited boldly.

My salute to the man who defied all odds and emerged as a true champion in life. Simply splendid!

Braddock is a magnificent boxer who fought for his pride, to ensure a decent life for his family and inspired millions of his countrymen.
A person worthy of respect and admiration.

People like Mr.Braddock make us remember that we always have a second chance in our life to make things happen.

All I can say is, I cried in that movie, I shout in that movie, but most of all I enjoyed it and lived it.

On last thing, the site attempt was the best think you could do to honor the man who gave hope to so many.

Definitely James J.Braddock is a heroe not only in the boxing but also in the fight of his own life he taught the values of humble, perseverance. While I was washing the movie I understood the real love of a father and a husband...They should write more about people like him who are an insipiration for us. He will alaways be a champion.

did you see the scene in the movie when one of the james Braddocks´s kid stole a piece of Salami ? ..and then when he went with his kid to the butcher ? ..and finally when he said to his son that he never will leave them ....oh my Gosh that kind of things worth all the movie....Mr. Braddock thanks for remind us the value of love in tough times....

i have seen a lot of sporting real life movies but fuck this takes the cake .to see what james went through in those hard times and see his family suffer just goes to show what a big heart he had (as big as phar laps) AN absolute legend wish i could shake the bastards hand his family would be proud good on you james one for the struggler
