Thousands Of Messages and Tributes to Cinderella Man Himself, James J. Braddock A hero to his country and an Inspiration to us all! I have seen many Films, Many insirational, but none compare to Cinderella Man! Words are not enough to Describe the Man Himself, A true legend and an idol to us all. Looking at his life and what he achieved is a Benchmark to myself, i look up to him, even at the hardest times in life, Saying the name James J Braddock is enough to inspire me to achieve anything! Words cannot descrive what the man has done, An Era of a True Great and wonderful Man!

Saw the film today. Not normally into boxing but this one was more of an inspirational event than a 'slug-fest'.
Well done Russell and even better done Jim.

I don't understand. He would be 100 years old now, is the man still alive?????!!!! Why doesn't it say in big letters on here that he is still alive? And why didn't the movie tell us he's still alive? Or show real pictures of him? In fact it should show a pic of Russell Crowe with him, that would be nice. Wow... talk about confusion. Ron Howard you should have done better!

James Braddock's life sound like a faire tale, but what's amazing,. he was real. What a great man, after watching the film I can honestly say that he is my hero and idol. I would like to have such a strength and courage to achieve my goals as he had.

I have always had an interest in boxing, but James J Braddock was not a name that would leap quickly into my mind. After watching this magnificent film he will be forever more at the forefront of my mind. What courage! In a point in time, when there was very little hope of anything, people would be wise not to forget those times. This movie made you think, about your own life and how easily it could change. It was a wonderful film and he was a great boxer to come such a long journey to win the world heavyweight title. I could feel every punch and every emotion. What passion, what a movie! Thank you for letting me know something of James J Braddock.

Our whole family has seen the film Cinderella Man and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. At one stage my wife and I were both in tears. My dad is 87 and he remembers the greats of that era including Max Baer, Max Schmeling, Joe Louis and James J. Braddock himself. He loved the film too. God bless you all!

When We find ourselves in that times of trouble, pain or darkness theres always something that refuses to die or give up, this man was full of "that feeling", he wasnt an Cartoon hero, he was real, and so, you cannot avoid the impulse of shout or cry when you see the movie, you feel like never is imposible when you love and believe in something, there is still a chance for us, even in our darkest hours, you get on your feet, as a taekwon do trainer, is so emotive to see this kind of example of real man, altought he has come to past he is alive in every heart that says "never give up"

I am honored to be singing this guestbook. When I was a young man I was given the nickname J J Braddock because of my ability to 'lick' everyone I fought. If your dad had not been given arthueric medication he might well have retained his championship.
