i watched the movie during the sneak preview and i must admit the man is an inspiration. the way he lived his life and the way he took care of his family. he had integrity especially the time he returned the money he got from government relief. that was a class act. another trait that comes to mind is courage which he displayed all throughout his life. he will forever be etched in my mind

it's just been hours since i last saw the movie and until now, i am still dumb-founded! It's a truly amazing and inspiring story! he was really an inspiration to many during the depression era, and probably till now!--since his story had been retold! i send my accolades to the family of mr.braddock---he had truly left a legacy that may have etched in the hearts of many!

An inspiring story of a man I had heard very little about, pleased that someone had the sense to tell the world about this selfless individual who never stopped trying to look after his family. People today could learn a lot from this man.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this movie, you totally believe that Russell Crowe is Jim Braddock. Don't be put off by the length 144mins, it's certainly never boring, just takes you through a time that you hope will never be repeated, Depression - not the film.

This is one of the most moving stories Hollywood has ever produced. And it`s all true ! Being a big sportsman & fan for decades I had heard of the name James Braddock. But until I saw this movie I really had no idea: Who he really was, What he overcame, or for that matter what my parents and grandparents went through during the depression. I challenge anyone to not be moved by this film !

I watched the movie last nignht and now I am both highly upset and happy by the story!
What a guy! And how hopefull he gives!
Here in France, all my friends have really enjoyed the movie!
I felt like kissing Braddock last night to thank him!!

I watched Cinderella Man yesterday and was touched. James J. Braddock won the Heavyweight Championship a few days before my Mom's birthday. I have always been fascinated with inspiring stories about the Great Depression. My grandfather was living in the U.S. during those difficult years but had to go to Manila in 1933 to find employment.

Amazing! Iconfess that i was never previously interested in boxing or any of its boxers. I went to see this film and I havnt felt so much inspiration. I had to find out more about James Braddock. It is such an inspirational story and i believe that Ron Howard, Russell Crowe and the whole cast and crew have done a fantastic job.

My wife Mary and I saw the Film and were totally captivated by it. The fight scenes were brilliant and Russel Crowe
was masterful in the lead role.

I confess I had never heard of James J. Braddock before seeing the film Cinderella Man.I liked the story so much that I could not resit looking up the internet to get to know more about the man himself. so I found this site very informative. By all accounts, Jimmy seems to have been an honest, family man and at the same time a very tough customer in the ring!!

I was inspired by the story of this man. Fantastic! The movie is one of the best I've seen.

Congratulations to the movie makers, Director, etc and to James J Braddock himself, very well done

i saw the movie this weekend and couldn't help but investigate about the man... i am inspired by this character, not only because of his boxing abilities but also because of the way he kept his family together, how much he loved his wife and kids and how they supported and loved him back, i just loved it... he is a heroe..

A true Hero! Have seen the movie twice already! I am amazed!!

Always talked with my dad about the great fighters of the past, names like James J Braddock, Max scmelling, JoeLouis, Max Baer , tommy Farr, and later Rocky marciano.

I used to sit out side my dads bedroom in the early hours of the mroning trying to hear the fight commentaries on the radio my dad was listening too of fights in the States

Its no surprise my eldest lad is keen on boxing then.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed 'Cinderella man' a very poignant story of good morals, family love , endeavour and probably above all belief and hope!!

Unbeleavable film, I thought it was a hundred time better then Rocky left me & my daughter on the edge of our seats, so exciting grabbed my daughters hand and nearly broke it. Got to be the best film this year.

I just saw the movie, it's a real tear jerker. It's an inspiration to everyone involved in a good fight. The lesson is "never quit".

Like all the people on this site I also liked the film "Cinderella Man" . Good to known that there a still people showing there pride for this fantastic man, Greets from Holland

Mr. Braddock is a hero, i just saw the movie, and to me is the best movie ever! great actors for this great history, it changes my life.

Saw the movie today... I was deeply moved! To see this familys struggle and poverty... It made me appreciate my own situation here in 2005! We must never take things for granted!!

Je viens de voir l'hommage qui vous a été fait par le biaie du film "The Cinderella Man" et je ne trouve pas d'autre mot que "MERCI"... d'avoir été ce que vous avez été. Des hommes comme vous j'en connais pleins à Utopia !! ;-)
