What a great movie! it touched me in a way like a few movies does- it's a shoutout to everybody: YOU can do anything in this life, if you set your mind to it!

My deepest respect for this man and his wife. He was not only a hero in the ring.

I saw the movie and I cried like a baby. I am a rugby player and I know about sacrifices. I live in Argentina too, and we know a lot about that too.

I saw the movie the other night. A very inspiring man.

True stories never really make me so intrigued and curious to know more. After watching the film I went looking for his website. The movie left me believing him to be the bravest man ive had the pleasure of being knowing of, the facts on this site confirmed my belief. James J Braddock is someone who everyone can gain inspiration from, whatever that need be.

Just seen the movie....I wasn't expcting it to be so thrilling. As I watched that Championship fight I couldn't move I was so tense! I swear I forgot to breathe, Thats because I so wanted Jimmy to win. Its nice to enjoy a story that is a true story and one where the nice guy does win through.

Jim Braddock´s life is an opportunity to learn how important the family should be in everybody´s world.
Don´t miss the movie is atonishing from the beginning to the end..

My father and mother were close friends with Gus Lesnevitch and through him Jimmy Braddock. My mom was reminiscing today about attending St. Patty's Day celebrations at J. Braddock's place.

Just saw the movie, the movie is excellent, but above all the story of a TRUE LEGEND. It is hard to believe how he came out of the depression, especially his emotional touch with his family. You too feel emotional while watching his fight in and out of the ring. Just want to sa "JAMES J BRADDOCK" was a LEGEND and will always be in our hearts. Learnt a lot fro the story, a lot !!!!
